I agree...this place is HUGELY overrated!
Both times our meal was mediocre. Actually the first time the Schnitzel was largely inedible! (Too thick and overcooked)
The bar drinks are really good, but the staff was VERY noisy, shouting across the room at one another!
There are so few choices in this neighbourhood...but if someone opened a pub/restaurant with better food they would make millions!
Good food, frosty cold beer, and served by a friendly staff on a great outdoor patio (where your dog is welcomed also!!). You are sincerely greeted by the staff as soon as you pass through the door. We visit as often as we can.

I don't get it about this place. People who like it, LOVE it. I personally don't like it. The food is mediocre at best, and definitely over-priced. Service staff was nice, but the food was slow.

The food is another matter. The chicken wings are the smallest size, and the highest price. They were also overcooked and void on the flavour we had ordered. At least my tastebuds thought so.
There was also the unfortunate decision by our host and waiter deciding that after they had sta me down, poured my wife and I a drink, taken our order for all three of us, asking me to remove my baseball cap. Nowhere on a sign or on their menu does it mention this policy. I would never wear a baseball cap in a restaurant but this a pub on a sunday afternoon and no pub I have ever been in has ever asked me to remove my cap before. It would have been nice to asked to comply before we had committed ourselves. Will only return if the place burns to the ground to do a little dance on the ashes.
