GULAB JAMUN
Literally rose plums, this sweet takes its name from its dark colour and its flavour. It is sometimes laced with 'attar' (essence) of roses. The balls of thickened milk with spicy flavours is fried a deep brown and served in syrup.

I am Indian and this is a disgraceful restaurant. The kebobs were hard, the lettuce was brown, and the atmosphere was tacky. The waiter refused to give me new kebabs. He said that they (kebabs) are supposed to be like that. I know what kebabs are supposed to taste like, i have been eating them for as long as i remember. The only redeeming event of the night was the waiter apologized for my soggy brown lettuce and gave me a new place. I am from Toronto and I can 10 restaurants off the top of my head that are better. I was embarrassed to bring my girlfriend there and i was embarrassed of the quality of that overpriced restaurant. A horrible experience.
