My family and I discovered Mykonos last year and it has been a great new addition to the resteraunts we visit here in London. The menu covers everything from traditional Greek food to a WIDE selection of seafood and has some of the best halibut in the city. We just LOVE it. It is cozy, and the servers are attentive and have always been able to answer questions we have about the menu.
We went there for a birthday lunch and it lived merrily up to our expectations. Reasonably affordable, lots of choice, and quite tasty entrees. Friendly service. Some parking available on the premises. This is Mom 'n Pop restaurant dining at it's best. I love supporting locally owned restaurants and choose these over chains any day. Everything tasted like it was made from scratch. True, the atmosphere is not fancy. True, the food lives up to it's reputation of homemade goodness. In particular, we thought the pastitsio and moussaka were especially tasty - YUM-O! We look forward to returning.
One of my favourite restaurants when living in London. The atmosphere is great and the food is so good. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The price is unbelieveable; you would expect to pay so much more but it is so reasonable.
I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews here. I've probably had 100 meals here and very rarely experienced even minor disappointment. We had dinner here again last night and thoroughly enjoyed it!
The owner, Heidi, is the driving force behind this restaurant's enviable success. She's a sweet, kind and caring woman who warms the place up and treats all her customers as if they were her personal guests. It's so rare to experience this level of service anymore. I definitely rate Myknonos as one of London's best!
I agree with LondonGuy
Food is horrible, and the place smells a little funny...
Its difficult to even enjoy a drink when your cant even breath properly in the stench...
wont return..
