Haven't been there in awhile but was there 2 days ago and YUM!!! Can't believe the size of the birthday cake that they gave me! Generous!! I was glad I had people to share it with as I would have burst if I'd eaten it myself!! The meal was mighty fine and the service was so good!!! The restaurant has been renovated, the worn furniture and decor replaced with more modern look, very nice atmosphere.
The food is generally excellent.
They have a large covered patio for outdoor eating.
Surprisingly they also have a classy banquet hall downstairs for large family events so its not necessary to go out of your way.

I ate here with my family and we were delighted to find another teppanyaki place after losing our favourite one in the west end, and being disappointed at the Village. I am disabled, and access use an issue that they cannot solve at that location, but they do everything that is possible to make up for it. We know our teppanyaki, and were very pleased. I absolutely love to eat out, and do it a great deal. I have eaten at many fine dining restaurants throughout Ottawa. Over the last two years, each time I go out, I realize I cannot top this moxies. The food may not be considered fine dining, but it is very good. What makes up for it is the service. The staff at this location are fabulous. From the minute I walk in the door we are treated exceptionally. I have some food allergies, and they always treat me superbly and with the utmost care.
