I come to the bakery almost everyday. My company orders our restaurants bread from here. The girls are GREAT, and always sweet as pie! They go out of their way for me by saving me my fresh fruit cup.Read more

Have lived in the area for years and Slurp n Burp has always been my favorite spot for breakfast. Good food, good service, bottomless coffee and fabulous location with outdoor patio overlooking lake. Technically a greasy spoon but they don't get any better than this. Largely a secret of the locals.Read more

We ordered 2 strip loins. It has steaks and of course hamburg. We also ordered 12 meat pies. The people that work there are very nice to say the least. I would recommend this place for great prices and service. I can't say if the steaks are tender, we haven't had any yet. But they hung for 21 days, so I imagine they will be super.Read more

Wow! What a treat. We had driven by the place over and over again and there was always cars parked there no matter the time of the day and now I know why! The menu, which consists mostly of the good old hardy foods - meat and potatoes stuff - is absolutely fantastic. We were always searching for a great place to eat in Peterborough that we both could love and coming up short. We have found a great love in Uncle Georges. Sometimes the wait staff is not as good as other times, but the meal is always outstanding. We have been there 4 times in the past 4 months and love it. We will be back. Whether or not the menu changes in the summer I don't know but the prime rib is absolutely to die for.Read more
