For the last two years, Marc Boyajian has been living his two passions: working in retail and working with animals. Before opening Animalerie Chez Marc in May 2015, Marc worked in sales, rising through the ranks to become a manager. He opened three 'Doggee Couture' dog clothing stores, which he ran for six months before going into business for himself. "I've always had this love for animals. When I decided I was going to follow my passion, I wanted to go all in."
Marc, originally from the borough of Ville Saint-Laurent, had noticed the lack of corner pet stores and groomers in the area and knew there would be a demand for it. When he found a space on Decarie Boulevard, he knew nothing would stop him from jumping at the chance.
