Long-time friends Cara Schwartz and Lily Abruzzese are passionate about dogs, and walking into Services canins ruff ruff confirms that. “We both have dogs and understand what’s going through an owner’s mind when they are on their way to a groomer: will my dog be treated well? Will he have a positive experience? Those are questions we asked ourselves on many occasions, and that is why we treat every dog as if it were our own,” Cara says.

ruff ruff is the result of many long years of reflection. “We met at McGill University, where we were involved in research. We bonded over our passion for dogs, and it quickly became our dream to start a business together, where we could take care of dogs while introducing a new concept to Montreal," says Cara. "In 2013, we decided to quit our jobs and begin the process that eventually led to the opening of ruff ruff in January 2014.”
