Quickly ranking as a favourite of Saint-Henri workers and residents since it opened in March 2014, Sandwicherie Saint-Henri offers unique sandwiches, soups and salads at affordable prices.
"I see the shop as a middle ground between the fancy eats that have been popping around recently and the patateries that have been here throughout Saint-Henri’s rich history,’’ Germain Côté explains. He opened the eatery with his business partner, Cynthia Law Kam-Cio.
"I love to reinterpret classic sandwiches, give them a unique twist," Germain adds. "I prepare them in a way that I find appealing. I infuse them with my personality, in a way, so that they have this little unique je-ne-sais-quoi. I guess it works, since we’re almost always sold out at closing time." Germain’s unique twists on popular sandwiches quickly made Sandwicherie Saint-Henri a staple of the area. And the shop is attracting an ever-growing clientele.
