The first surprise when entering Au Petit Resto on Papineau Avenue is that it's not really small at all. In fact, the place is rather large and especially airy, with well-spaced tables that allow guests to enjoy the privacy of their meals.
This story explains the origin of the restaurant's name. Guillaume Bernard and his wife Chantal Lussier have owned Au Petit Resto since they opened it in 1993in a small building on Mentana Street. In 2007, when the lease was not renewed, they moved the restaurant to Papineau and decided to keep the name "so they would not lose their identity."
Excellente ambiance dans ce resto ou l'on amène son vin. Guillaume est toujours vigilant pour satisfaire la clientèle, et on a a de la place pour les jambes.
