paid in full including warranty for a couch and dining table in the middle of august. told that we might get it in 4 to 8 weeks. we agreed. after 6 weeks we caled for a follow up and the customer service told us that it not might be available till December. frustrated for two reasons - first they don.t bother informing the customer of the order status until we placed the follow up call. second, no apology from the agent and customer service. cancelled the order and 2 weeks after no refunds yet.
I wish I had looked more closely to the Shop's reviews before placing an order here. 8 months already and still waiting for order updates!
I bought some furniture in December and they promised me that delivery would take 10 to 12 weeks, maximum. And now they have pushed the date back to April with no guarantees or promises. I called customer service and responded to the employee with the utmost rudeness. This is the first time I deal with leons and it may be the last
I wish there was an option to provide even a below 1 star to give to this store.Pathetic customer service, they are rude, inconsiderate and try to bully customers who are just demanding delivery of their furniture or refund. We ordered $1000 worth of stuff in sep and still awaiting delivery. When we reach out they are inconsiderate and rude and push us to get a refund after waiting for 4 month! its interest free loan for them! scam at the best!
Generally, I avoid these big box stores at all costs. However our dyer broke and just needed something to hold us over until I had more time to think about what I wanted out of a new set. I made an order in September (very simple, cheap $600 dryer) and a couple of days later someone called me to tell me that the delivery would be in 6 weeks. After 6 weeks I called the store since I hadnt heard anything and they said it would be another 10 weeks. At that point I asked to cancel the order and the
Terrible customer service, office staff are extremely rude.. Problems with majority of items bought. Fabric not the same colour as in store.. legs on appliances missing.. appliances not working... IF I ever shopped at leons again it definitely would NOT be in whitby because of their staffs incompetence in problem resolution.
Horrible delivery service. No set up at all. Will never buy from Leons again. Not just one bad delivery experience but 3. As the furniture I ordered didnt all come at the same time. Came home to the latest delivery today a sofa which they didnt take out of the box...just dumped it and left. After being told from sale rep. that they look after all the set up.
Purchased furniture from Leons in the past and service was always mediocre at this Whitby location. We still got what we paid for in the end, so no complaints. Our latest experience was just awful and we will never use Leons again. Dealt with Mike and ordered a $500 ottoman and $600 microwave in April. He did mention that the ottoman was custom and will take 5 weeks, okay no prob. 5 wks later, nothing. Called and told 5 more weeks, ok fine. Now it is 1 more mth and they cannot explain why? SMH.
Friendly, helpful staff, fun atmosphere, and a huge variety of furniture! Had a great shopping experience, even my kids had a lot of fun!
Certainly one of the nicest and most welcoming businesses around. They have a large selection of high quality furniture, and they really stand by their products. Their volunteers are extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend Leon's for anything household related.
I went there yesterday with my husband to purchase a bed and loveseat. The place was very well organized and clean. The salesperson was really nice, as well. He even helped us get a better deal on the pieces we were looking at, plus free delivery! My husband was very happy. Now we can’t wait to get them delivered! Thank you Leon’s!!
If you are looking to have a piece of furniture from Leon's replaced and/or repaired, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. I have been waiting to have the top panels of my desk replaced for 13 weeks now. The first delivery man brought damaged pieces. The second man brought the WRONG pieces, and the third man refused to disassemble it, even though he had a toolbox in hand. He wouldn't even let me use a screwdriver to do it myself. Still don't have a desk. THANKS FOR NOTHING LEON'S
