Versatility is the name of the game at Tailor Made Café with requests for dishes from customers keeping Vijay on his toes and his creative flair well-practiced. Chances are that you’ll drop in for a bite one day and the following week you’ll find a new delectable dish on the menu alongside the regulars like mac and cheese and spicy chicken panini.
“We have an excellent variety because I’ve developed the menu as I have gone along. I’m intuitive when it comes to cooking and choosing what I serve,” laughs Vijay who clearly loves being in the kitchen. “I do a special chicken lasagna with a rosé sauce and the other day a customer asked why it hadn’t been on the menu for a while. I put it on the specials menu right away.” Tailor-made indeed!
