The food was too salty. The service was good. Biscuit was not bake through completely. So disappointed!
Always very busy, but the staff from the receptionist to the waiters and busboys are always polite and very efficient.
Took my date here for valentines. She loved it!
As a kid, I used to love going to the Red Lobster in Ajax with my family but it closed several years ago. I went here two years ago with my parents for a birthday lunch. To make it short and sweet, you will be appalled if you're a seafood lover like I am. The salads were decent (though most generally are), but the crab legs - the dish we mainly came here for - was overpriced and bland. The dipping butter tasted like movie theatre butter substitute. We found the service to be polite but very slow in bringing our dishes.
Escargots has good taste, but very salty; I would never have guessed this was caesar salad; lobster rolls were filled with a gummy paste and clam chowder I suspect was out of a can. Terrible terrible food.
horrible, that's all I got to say....your comercials are much much better
We took our dad there for father's day. We'd been looking forward to this for a long time. First of all, the waitress was so slow, didn't even bring us any buns, forgot about us for about 15 minutes and everytime we tried to get her attention she would turn the other way. We FINALLY got to order some appetizers, which when we got them, we were very dissapointed with the portions. there were hardly any artichokes in the dip and it was runny. the calamari had more deep fried broccoli than squid. i didnt pay that price for broccoli! When we finally got our main courses, my lobster was sooo rubbery and tough to chew. i only ended up taking one bite because it was sooo overcooked. the crab was also overcooked and missing a leg. i was so upset that i had brought my dad here for a special day only to have our food be so terrible. his halibut was burnt too but he isnt the type to complain so he ate it even tho i insisted he send it back. i told our waitress about my meal and she said she would let the kitchen know. i didnt receive any new lobster or compensation and she didnt even deduct money from our bill. she forgot my dad's coffee after he asked her 3 times. i spoke to the manager, thinking that she would have enough courtesy to help us out, but she just shrugged it off and said she would let the kitchen know, which i DOUBT she did. i am so appauled because red lobster is one of my favorite restaurants and i will never go back there. i highly recommend that everyone else avoid it unless you love being ignored and overpaying for your meals.
The most amazing Seafood restaurant I have ever been to. The food tastes great and service is extraordinary. They have few servers with amazing sense of humor! That totally keeps the night going. Worth more than a visit. I will be a regular there now!
Our lunch was expensive, tiny portion, reheated. We had to wait at lunch time for the little buns, of which they served to us two at a time..with a 15min wait between servings. Stingy, terrible service. We will never go back to another Red Lobster.
I hate to give such a low review, but I have to. I personally used to love Red Lobster but started to find it not as good so avoided it. My mother-in-law wanted to go so we agreed for my husband's birthday. You could tell the food was reheated and rubbery - I asked the waitress - quite nicely too - if I could get a new order. She was rude, took my food, and never replaced it! The drink order was wrong, I had to ask 3 times for buns - which were cold when we got them. When we got the bill I asked to speak to a manager considering I'd been charged full price. Nobody came and when I asked, the waitress said "he's too busy" in a snide voice. The lady behind us started to ask for new shrimp and I told her "good luck"! I later wrote to the head office and did not even get the courtesy of a "sorry" letter, let alone any compensation. We have never gone back since - and have had friends move parties from there to other restaurants based on this experience.
My boyfriend and I made plans to go to Red Lobster a month in advance. I was so looking forward to eating Lobster as is had been sooo long since I have had it. When I got to the restaurant they where out of LOBSTER!! They did nothing to compensate for this and as if that wasn''t enough, they were eyeing us to leave after we finsihed are dinner and relaxing with some Ceasars. I even think I got a dirty look from the manager. I never wanted to go back. :(
