Since my wife and I started going here (about 1 year ago) we've visited well over 15 times. We aren't sushi lovers exactly however if you want to take a "non-raw-fish" eater to Japanese this is it. Tomo has a nice long list of no raw fish rolls that we LOVE and always go back for. We've taken friends who love REAL sushi and they enjoyed the food as well. I don't know who wrote that first comment about the Crunch soup NOT being good....WE LOVE THAT SOUP!
My wife and I go to many Japanaese Restaurants around Richmond Hill and this is our favourite non ALL YOU CAN EAT Japanese restaurants above hwy 7. Well here is one more place that rivals it but Tomo is awesome and friendly! In fact we are taking my brother in law there today or his birthday. : )
The crunchy soup is the worst soup i ever get, the soup base is filled with oil on the surface maybe of the crunchy stuff. Feel sick after eating it. Quality for the kitchen menu does not worth a try. But service is ok.
The friendliest staff in all of Richmond Hill. Great food at a great price and a frequent buyers discount card to boot.
It doesn't get any better than Tomo.
