Very plain and uninspired interior. Food was completely sub-par. Tacos were cold soft shells with a few strips of chicken and some slices of heated onion - nothing else. served with bland rice and beans. Overall restaurant, washrooms, etc. did not look clean.
The Agave Grill is a true Gem in the Ottawa dining sector. The service was outstanding, the food amazing, and with the lovely atmosphere, it was one of the best experiences of our trip. If we did not spend as much time at the museum of civilizations today, we would have definitely gone back one more time before we had to leave the city. We went close to the end of the night so it was not too busy. Speaking with the General Manager after our meal, he said that they don’t even do much advertising as they are already very busy and desire to keep the level of service and customer satisfaction as high as it is - a true testament to their customer service. I can absolutely imagine how busy it gets due to the amazing overall experience they provide their customers. Oh yeah, I can not forget the desserts… they were to die for, and extremely reasonably priced considering their quality.

The boys who own and work in this resturant make it what it is. They are friendly and flirty! THe food is great always served hot. Go in the summer and sit in the huge open window..heaven in Ottawa.
We have always had the chicken with the goat cheese and NEVER been disappointed. We begin with the guachamole, which, although it does not have as much cilantro as it used to is great. Kids like it and find things to eat that are good for them as well. Always start with the dart Warsteiner beer, fabulous. Never ever disappointed with either foor or service. N.B. the way the restuaruant front is sometimes it looks as though it is closed but it isn't really.
