Forum Drive-In Restaurant welcomes you to their dining room. This establishment cooks hamburgers for 11$ to 25$. You can get there not only by car but also by public transit.
A Greasy Spoon ? You bet! The food is terrific, the Veal is great, try it with the home made BBQ sauce.
You will never leave hungry. I have been going there since I was a small child (43 now). The owners can't live forever, try it, before somebody else screws it up.
Pies are excellent, Momma is entertaining, oh and the Western sandwiches are 4 inches thick. Steak on the Kaiser is great too.
This is a little hole-in-the-wall throwback to the old greasy spoon days. A family run joint with lots of character (!) like pannelled walls, tired furniture, ancient decorations. But, you can't beat the breakfast. For under $5, you get no less than five strips of good smoky bacon, tons of real homfries (a little oversalted for my taste) and three eggs plus toast and coffee. Momma has been serving it up for 30 years or more. Looks can be deceiving. You'll never leave hungry.
