A vital member of Oshawa's restaurant scene, Dines Family Restaurant first opened their doors for business in 1964. Current owner Mike Hamdan offers patrons generous portions of quality homestyle food at the beloved spot, which is best known for its all-day breakfast and hearty steak on a kaiser.
“My partners and I decided to buy into the business because of its history in Oshawa,” says Mike. “We offer American and Canadian food, everything is fresh and made in the kitchen here. Nothing is out of a can and everything is made from scratch. You really feel like you’re eating at home when you come to Dines Family Restaurant.”
I ordered stir fry chicken from dynes restaurant it was burnt to disgusting fashion the waitress never came to ask me how my meal was I just sat there , at the end I mentioned it the owners or management and totally was disrespected me maybe cuz Im maybe cuz Im ethnic culture. It was very upsetting to me to be treated that way very disgusting . I offered to pay no matter what they told me I should have said something to the waitress who was never around very bad experience so sad.
Just stopped in for breakfast. Not just one, but two hairs in my meal. Asked for an order of toast instead so I wouldn’t be hungry, then they charged me $3.49 for the toast. Cheers Dine’s, you won’t see me again!
Great place to eat,love their home-made meals and fresh cut French fries.Very clean place with open kitchen where I can see what is cooking.Best all day breakfast in Oshawa.
