They admit we get an intermittent and very poor signal but say that’s irrelevant. If sometimes you get some signal then they hold you to the contract. Three years paying for nothing. Go elsewhere!
Most times I only get lest than 1gps, the best is 2gbs.
Past 2 yrs a great company and quick turnaround to fix anything. Way better then previous companies.
Have been a long time customer with no complaints. Issues have always been resolved very quickly.
Excellent Service, Great Support, I have my 10mbps plan and Rarley have any issues streaming or gaming. Much better experience then xplornet.
Internet goes out all the time. When you call you are on hold forever. I'm currently on hold and it's been over 15min. Any decent package is $70 a month! Tried to cancel and would have to pay a huge fee. Longest 3 year contract ever!
Unfortunately I live on an under served area, so cannot use compton but I would advise you avoid Rural Wave if possible. They inflate your bill, provide poor service/interrupted service, all round a weak option.
Tried service for 30 days and it worked ok. Purchased equipment for $200, paid $100 for install and signed a two year contract. Shortly thereafter, service became poor. Not working at all a lot of the time. They came back to fix and said I need to pay more to have a different setup installed. I said I wouldn't pay anymore money to have a different system installed. I asked them to cancel the service and they won't. I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager and they said "No!" Complaint to CCTS
Their new LTE product is great! All I can say is WOW, I'm very happy!
Their installer came out in the fall and with his testing mast ascertained that we could get good speed and reception. I ended up requesting my installation the next spring. After not hearing back from them during the week after I called, they said their installer couldn't get reception! When I told them that my dogs & I were home that whole time & would have noticed anyone coming up our 600' driveway, the owner came on & starting swearing @ me! Much better to go w/ Cable Cable or Xplorenet

This is a fake review, these events did not take place.
We just had Ruralwave install an internet service at our home recently, wow what a difference. We had Explornet internet since that's all that was available. Well now Ruralwave is here to stay and work fast, I would recommend them to anyone, it even costs less.
I'm in the sticks and they got me FAST service, support is good too! Thanks guys!
Poor internet and customer service.
Started out great, slowly got worse. Now I am paying for Monsoon (8mbps) package and getting under 1mbps. All I can say is DON'T DO IT! NetFlix? Forget it! Streaming radio? Forget it! The tower is only 500 metres from my home and the speed it is terrible. Will have an argument with RuralWave, but going to satellite service.
We have been very happy since switching to Ruralwave. The service has been fast and reliable. We cannot say enough about their staff who are very knowledgeable and professional.
The quality of service and level and timing of their service is great in comparison to the larger dominant suppliers on the market. My speeds are much better than friends and family on other platforms and when I need service it happens that day, instead of being scheduled 3-5 business days out.
I got hooked up with Ruralwave internet, from start to finish they were great to deal with. Their techs are very knowledgeable and friendly. As far as I'm concerned, there is no other internet provider that can provide high speed service to rural areas for the price that Ruralwave does
Since our upgrade in internet service from another ISP to Ruralwave, speeds are super fast, customer service is really friendly, and their techs are quick and professional. Its been a pleasure to stream Netflix with no issue. Thanks Ruralwave. -Ivan
The service I have experienced with this company is disappointing. They are always making the customer feel as though they are to blame. Although helpful in the beginning, a year and a half into our service and they have no solutions for our very poor internet signal. After telling us that we had a morning appointment for a service upgrade, they didn't show up for hours so after calling and dispatching a service tech and waiting again, we were told that they wouldn't be there until the afternoon and that they never planned to come in the morning. Frustrating to say the least. I wish I could say better things because small companies like this need to be supported, but they also need to hold up their end of the deal.
I have been using Ruralwave Highspeed for months and have had only one service call required. They were fast and fixed the problem right away. I am always getting the speed that I am paying for and would and have recommended them to all my friends.
