Excellent sushi, bibimbab comes with rice in separate bowls so rice is not crispy. Tables do not have BBQ grill so they bring it cooked. Waiters have good attitude.

We've eaten at Sakai before and it was always between good and average. Today it was horrible. It took good 15 minutes to get someone to take our order and everything came at the same time (appetizer, salad, miso soup and entree). Except my husband's entree didn't arrive together with mine. Another 20 minutes to get his food. The teriyaki chicken wasn't even close to warm and it was tasteless. We never got checked in and never got a green tea refill. The place was busier than usually, but there was no excuse for the extremely poor service and uninspired food. I will not go back. The staff barely speaks English, so complaining is not an option. Save your money and go somewhere else. Extreme disappointment!!!!!

Our waitress RUINED Valentines Day dinner...

Our waitress RUINED Valentines Day dinner. We made reservations for 6:30pm and by 7:10 she started clearing our table (while we continued to finish our meals) then she threw the bill on our table. When we reviewed the bill and told her that we never received our appetizers, she told us that one of the appetizers had been made just not delivered to us and then asked us if we were ready to leave because there were other people waiting for a table. About three minutes later (and only half way thru our Sake) she returned to our table and said "you're still not ready to go?" Since when did Sakai turn into McSakai Fast Food? In her efforts to get us to leave, she completely ignored the couple beside us who had ordered before we had even sat down. They only got their meals when we started to leave - so about an hour after ordering! They commented to us on how rude our waitress was and couldn't believe she came back a second time to tell us that people were waiting for a table. Clearly they won't be back either. We have been loyal Customers for over two years and we were so disappointed in the service we will be looking for another sushi place. We would suggest you do the same.

After being seated, I waited for 15 minutes, the people who arrived after me were served first, I was not even offered water or tea, I left, so I cannot comment on the food - the service was AWFUL - do not recommend if you are hungry!
