The food is really good, portion sizes could use some work. The facility itself is a bit outdated, could use some renovation / expansion. Like the other comments, it is very busy there thus leaving you frustrated, can take a little while to get the food - but in the end it's a great meal.
We really like this establishment. Sure it's busy but this indicative of a successful business. They catered to my elder Mom's needs and had no problem with adjusting the menu order. It is clean and the staff, though busy, are confident and professional. What more could I ask. For my money, good value, Thanks Egg staff and manager.
food is what you would expect from a breakfast diner except for the waffles which are good but are topped with very poor sauces. The service on the whole is quite good except for a few select waitresses which cannot handle busy periods in the day. All in all it is a great place to go despite the odd short service.
the waitreses do not reconize first com first serve customers who were seated well after we were had their order taken and food first and out the door first. diet coke tasted real bad did not even finished it.
Obviously this is a diner, so I don't expect the food to be of a high calibre and its not. The service however is terrible. My wife and I have been 4 times (because its close) and the experience is pretty much the same everytime we go. We wait at the door, even when their is no lineup for about 10 minutes. We order off of an uninspired menu (even for a diner) and the food takes 20 minutes to come. Meanwhile people keep buzzing by without ever looking at you - they must be on a mission - and you eat lackluster food without half the things you need to enjoy it. (Ketsup, hot sauce, you name it.) Last time we swore we wouldn't go back until we saw the dive get made over on that restaurant makeover show. The chef their would have a field day with the place. Problem is, it always seems full and people keep going. I've talked to others who feel the same as I, but as long as they get the business they won't change.
