Fabulous food and fantastic service. Definitely worth the lovely 20 minutes drive from Ottawa. They have the best fishing tacos and lamb burgers. Fine dining with fresh ingredients, and the desserts are outstanding. The brunch on Sunday is excellent with the quiche, omelettes, French toast, fish cakes and so much more. Highly recommend ??
Having had brunch before at this cosy restaurant, we returned with a fairly difficult-to-please couple. Well, they raved about it too! We each ordered a different entree but 3 of us had the scones. I have always disliked scones(including those in Devonshire, England!) until I had tried one here on our last visit, now I cannot get enough of them. They are light and savory. The service was attentive with the entrees timed perfectly.
A long drive from the city's east end but absolutely worth it

Presentation was 1st class.
Food was over the top impressive, I would have never expected this in Almonte..it is hard enough to find in Ottawa.
We are desert fanatics and ordered three deserts to share and each was perfect as well.
The waitress said the menu changes soon so we will head back soon for dinner.
