The food was O.K. I found the prices to be a lot higher then in the city. They also did not provide extras with there meals like other sushi restaurants ie. salad, soup, ice - cream.
We ordered the party platter to feed 3 people, figuring this platter would be plenty. It was plenty alright, mostly rice!!! The "salmon" rolls had nothing but scrapings of salmon, the sushi was paperthin. It was embarassing to serve this and painful to eat. We spent over $50.00 for rice. Maybe they should do away with the all you can eat and concentrate on the quality of food not quantity. You couldn't even pay me to eat there.
The food was terrible. The chicken in the teriyaki I received was overcooked. The sushi ingredients did not taste fresh. I expected better for the price. I will not be returning.
Food ordered: All you can wait for :) (all you can eat) Service : - Extremely slow - 5 small items for 2 people - took 1 hour and half to get to the table. By the time we got our 1st order, we were already quite bored and lost our appetite (This is probably one of their strategies to keep people from eating all they can eat). - Chef was itching his nose with the back of his hand in front of what he was preparing. Food: - Some were fresh and some were just old, dry and chewy, some were not what they claimed them to be (eg: seafood soup = no seafood whatsoever just plain broth with noodle, beansprouts and tofu) - was not consistent - 1st order of salmon sashimi and white tuna = fresh and nice size - 2nd order of salmon sashimi and white tuna = insulting - dry, chewy, old and very thin sliced, it didn't seem that they liked it very much that we had another order of 6 slices of sashimi. - The rice they use is so thick and the fish so thin, it made me gag, I have never had so much rice on a single piece of sushi/roll before. - You have to pay for green tea. Quality: I'd rather buy those ones at the mall. Atmosphere: not cozy like every other japanese restaurant I have ever been to. Price: Not worth what you get at all. It's advertised as "all you can eat", but for the couple of hours you plan on being there, you'd only be able to get through 1 small order as it is that slow. To eat enough, you'd have to stay there forever. Overall: Quite disappointing. I am surprised about the good reviews this restaurant is getting, the people that did those reviews probably never been to any other Japanese restaurants. The reason we went there was because of the good reviews it got.
