PACKRAT MOVERS REVIEW
We hired Pack Rat Movers to move our home contents into new Sea Can containers provided by a local container company in July of 2017. We also supplied all new moving blankets and protective items required for safe packing. The cans were then picked up and stored in a facility for 10 months.
When we opened the containers up at our new home and started unloading contents we were absolutely shocked at what we discovered. Most of the items were packed using no blankets at
They broke and scratched multiple objects, the movers fought with us and themselves, claimed they have item insurance but if any of your wooden objects is particle board it means they can break it as much as they like and wont pay for it because its to easy to break
We hired Packrat movers and it was the worst mistake! If you care about your belongings and your home, do not consider them! I had steam cleaned the carpets and they had no consideration, just stomped all over the clean carpets with their dirty boots. They broke many personal items, leaving holes and shatterd glass. They said they would cover the damages they did, months later we still have nothing! I guess the owner is always away on vacation. Look else where, it is worth it. Protect your stuff
We moved in June of 2016 and decided to use packrat movers. Unforrtunely it turned out to be horriabl experience for my family and finnacially. PackRat brought 3 movers and one of their employees was vulger and swearing in front of my kids. I asked him politely to stop using the f word. Another mover slipped and crushed my kids prized bubble hockey.Damage over $800 to replace. Packrat said they'd would cover the damage but never did. Also Put 4 holes in drywall plus damaged drawer. Do not hire
