I have a watch that the crown had broken off of. I initially received a quote from another business for a minimum of $90. I took it to Roy (he has a home based business.) When Roy took it apart, another part was broken. He completed the job by the next day & the total cost for parts & labour was $41 (including a new battery.) I am not a complaining type of person but I must comment. I took an old mantle clock for cleaning and overhaul, new bearings, and so on.
We discussed some damage on the face and I said we had decided to leave it as it was. To show its history.
