Laser Cutter Café welcomes you to their establishment. They are open nightly Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday and during week-ends. You can get there not only by public transit but also by bicycle and may pay by American Express, Visa, MasterCard and cheque.
“The laser cutter is an incredibly useful tool that not enough people actually know about or have access to,” says Derek Gaw, owner of Laser Cutter Cafe, “there’s a very low barrier to entry, and once someone learns how to use a laser cutter through one of our classes, they can pretty much just come in, turn on the machine, use it, and walk out with something that they made.”
Laser Cutter Cafe offers aspiring creators an easily accessible tool to help realize their creative vision, and provides laser-cutting services for clients who need Derek’s skill and expertise with the process.
“Some people are in a rush so they don’t have the time to learn, they just need something made, so we happily do it for them,”Derek explains, “or the ones who are more interested in the process and internalizing it, they take a class and then they can do it themselves.”
