Most customers at Maple Ridge Florist are buying flowers for some important occasion — a birthday, an anniversary, a birth or death. But florist Shelli Kiselycia loves it when a customer picks up a bouquet of flowers for him or herself — someone who buys flowers “just because.”
“My favourite customer is someone who buys flowers simply for themselves as a treat, to bring joy into their home,” Shelli explains. “It shouldn’t have to be for a special occasion.”
The florist shop botched our son's valentine order and we complained to the owner. To their credit, the boss lady gave us one dozen free roses for the mistake which was extremely nice when we only requested a few roses that were missing from our order. Thank you for doing it right to turn a negative into a positive customer experience. Great job, too bad some others do not learn such values. Best of luck, and I've even ordered flowers for my 25 year married wife.
