Definitely dont go to JC Dental Care or Dr. Chen if you have any other options. Poor communication and lack of expertise. Awful experience. Avoid at all costs. I booked an appointment with them a month in advance only to learn on the day that it was cancelled. There was no reminder call as promised, and the reason they backed out was because of a mild form of hemophilia A that I have (and disclosed a month in advance) which has never affected my dental cleanings.

I was referred by a friend as she got a discount for cleaning. I was told that I could not get a discount because the condition of my teeth is too good. They told me that I probably won't go back to "check" with them very often so they can't apply the discount. I would not complain even if they could give me a better explanation such as no more promotions/discounts for new patients. Would a doctor charge a patient more money just because the patient is healthier? This is ridiculous!

Wonderful dentist, very experienced. I needed a difficult procedure done (4 impacted wisdom teeth extractions) and he was very thorough in explaining everything to me. The procedure went super well and I've been going since! Also works wonders with the needle, I've never felt a thing! Also, his receptionist is very good at working with you to maximize your insurance benefits. I saved about $500 bucks!
