Staff and Dr are very unpleasant to deal with. The clinic staff have no idea whats going on. After months of back and forth over appointments I got referred to a better clinic who booked me instantly.
As for expertise, Drs Lee (recently retired) and Fung are excellent. The problems that this clinic are having are just being simply overwhelmed with so many patients. You can expect a 2 hour wait. Period. I waited 2+ hours for a procedure that took 10 minutes. I saw people whose eyes were in much worse shape than mine get ahead of me. That's fair. If you don't like having unpredictable wait time, find another ophthalmologist.
Zero Solved, Waited 5+ months to hear him say Getting old dry eyes are normal, use drops.
Well I am the youngest sibling and none of the others have a drooping bag under their eye which he thinks is normal. Not sure what clientele he has seen, but if this is normal he is one lame Doctor. My bottom eyelid droops open. Told him I could show him these and absolutely no care to see.
I have lived with grandparents lots and never seen anything like this.
Great doctor, Dr. Lee performed my cataract surgeries and he did a wonderful job. I had a lot of trouble with my vision before surgery, especially when driving, and thanks to Dr. Lee, I now see better than I ever did before. I found him to be most professional and highly skilled. His staff and also the nurses at Innisfail hospital (where I had my surgery) were great as well. Highly recommended!
Dr Lee was the on call opthomologist at the Red Deer emergency hospital. I drove an hour to emergency with an eye that had suddenly hemorrhaged. I had no idea what was happening to me but I was becoming blind very rapidly. The emergency doctor called Dr Lee to come in & Dr Lee refused! After several phone calls & me threatening to report to the College of Physicians, he asked me to drive to his office. I declined cuz I no longer trusted him & drove to Calgary & was seen quite immediately.
