Come savor a savory dish at Bistro Praha. They are open late all week. You can get there not only by public transit but also by car and visit them in an area acknowledged as exciting.
Jasper Avenue’s popular Bistro Praha is known for their perfect people watching windows and their classic Czech cuisine. Among their authentic goulash, their cabbage soup, and their Weiner schnitzel, you’ll find perfectly roasted duck (or goose, if you prefer) accompanied by bread dumplings and sauerkraut.
This restaurant serves up Czech food, including crêpes. I’ve never had this type of crêpe before but it’s definitely worth it. Crêpe “Henry Christian” is one of my favs, with steamed kiwis with orange liqueur and whipped cream. Amazing!
Why, of course this European restaurant has steak tartare – it’s one of their specialities! They do it up right, too, with raw filet mignon. The chefs scrape it, then add spices and garnishes before serving it with rye bread toast. They offer a half order and full order, so you can enjoy it as an appetizer or main course. And, while it is a little pricier than many of the tartares on this list, the quality is outstanding.
