Our dog just had dental. Cost around 400 including bloodwork that revealed a potential future issue, we were quoted 1200 from our previous vet. At 10 years old and the condition of her teeth we would not have questioned extractions, or extra fees, but got neither. The vet took the time to fully and carefully explain and answer the risks and all questions we had. I felt the vet advised us honestly and ethically, I would not hesitate to bring our dog back again. I have taken my dogs to this clinic for many years and have always been very happy with the level of care and competency of the Doctors and front end staff. I have often referred the clinic to family and friends. Unlike many clinics in Calgary this clinic has reasonable rates so everyone can afford to have medical care for their pets.
WORST VET IN THE CITY!
Yes the prices are good, but is it really worth it when it comes to the wellbeing of your pet? No.
Took my dog here to have her spayed, when I picked her up she cried in pain for days.. She ended up with a really bad eye infection as well as an infection in her stomache. I took her back to have them check her out and I was told she was fine.. Took her to another vet and they told me if I hadn't, she would have died. Lots of meds later, she is now okay.
