Experience a sumptuous blend of modern luxury and intuitive service in Calgary's designer boutique-style hotel. Located in Downtown Calgary, Hotel Arts is home to two award-winning restaurants, meeting space and 185 guestrooms, each well appointed with fine linens and chic contemporary decor.
At first impression, you’d probably have a hard time believing that Hotel Arts is both a local and independent business. After all, it’s one of Calgary’s busiest hotels, hosting some of the biggest parties and celebrities, as well as, two award-winning restaurants and a pretty cool bike-sharing program.
While Hotel Arts might feel like something other than a local business, the friendliness of all the people that work there reminds you that it really is from Calgary. Since it opened, I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve gone to the Hotel Arts; sometimes it’s for poolside meetings or to dance the night away at a Halloween fundraiser. Other times it’s been to take advantage of amazing weekend rates or just to have an unforgettable brunch. However, at the end of the day, it’s the people that keep me coming back.
A fundraiser for Calgary Meals on Wheels, the Pig and Pinot Festival on June 16 is a porky party thrown by City Palate magazine. The annual dinner event features dishes by city chefs representing restaurants such as Anju, Pampa, Tango Bistro and Hotel Arts’ own Yellow Door Bistro. Providing pairings, wine shops in attendance include Metrovino and Kensington Wine Market. The event also features live music, a silent auction and raffle. Tickets, $130.
