My sister in law has been in St. Boniface hospital for months. She was admitted for pain and decreased cognition. She was misdiagnosed before finally having surgery. At one point she was transferred rooms and forgotten for an entire day before her daughter arrived. Now, as she is slowly recovering, the hospital wants to send her home with HC services (none at night) or to a PCH. The patient needs more time for rehab and strengthening. Not listening to patient or her family. Terrible care!!
