Where to watch Canada Day fireworks in Toronto

When it comes to Canada Day celebrations, we’re all after one thing: fireworks. There’s going to be fireworks displays happening across Toronto to mark the occasion, and expect them to be bigger and better than ever for our 150th birthday.

Where to watch Canada Day fireworks in Toronto

Ashbridge’s Bay at Woodbine Park
Woodbine Park hosts the Q107 Picnic every Canada Day, with a full day of programming for classic rock fans. Check out cover bands for artists like Journey and Bruce Springstreen, and then enjoy the fireworks display set to AC/DC.

Amesbury Park
Amesbury Park is open all day with Canada Day festivities like a flea market, a softball game, live music from calypso bands, plus a strong man show! Get there early to snag a good spot in the grass for the fireworks.

Canada’s Wonderland
Canada’s Wonderland is open for the holiday, with special prizes and giveaways throughout the park to guests wearing red! Once the rides and midway are all shut down for the night, the fireworks will begin.

Centennial Park
Etobicoke’s Centennial Park is going to be packed with delicious eats all Canada Day weekend for Ribfest! Eat all the barbecue you can manage and check out the live entertainment before the fireworks show at dusk.

Downsview Park
Downsview Park is celebrating Canada Day with a day-long festival! Head to the park for carnival rides, midway games and live entertainment, plus a grand fireworks display.

Harbourfront Centre
Harbourfront Centre celebrates Canada Day by honouring Indigenous Canadians. Guests can listen to live music, join dance classes and play family-friendly games all before the fireworks illuminate the sky.

Mel Lastman Square
Mel Lastman Square in North York is going to be packed with people for Canada Day, enjoying snacks from the food trucks on site, taking in a live music performance or just waiting for the fireworks show to start.

Milne Dam Conservation Area
The Markham Canada Day festivities include a parade, performances, music and kid’s entertainment before the fireworks show at night. There are also free shuttle buses to and from the Markville Shopping Centre happening until midnight!

Mississauga Celebration Square
Mississauga’s Canada Day celebration is a massive event, with music from K’NAAN, Neon Dreams, DJ Shub and more. Aside from the full day of musical performances, guests can also enjoy kid’s activities, a virtual reality tour, face painting and dozens of local food trucks to try.

Nathan Phillips Square
Why only have one set of fireworks? Nathan Phillips Square is throwing a weekend-long party for Canada Day, and fireworks are on the schedule every single night. Musical performances throughout the weekend include Barenaked Ladies, Born Ruffians and the TSO.

Port Credit Memorial Park
Port Credit’s Canada Day starts with a massive parade that leads to Memorial Park, where everyone can enjoy music performance, dancers, kids events and a birthday cake for Canada. The activities continue Sunday.

Stan Wadlow Park
During the day, the East York Parade winds its way through the neighbourhood to Stan Wadlow Park. Once there, there’ll be music, entertainment and of course, fireworks.
