I have been meaning to write a review since November. I hadn’t been to Julia’s in a while and my husband and I were looking for a restaurant to take some friends from Toronto. After reading the reviews I was a little skeptical and thought perhaps something had changed since we last there. We decided to take out friends there anyway (on Saturday November 20) and couldn’t have had a more pleasant dining experience. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very good. We enjoyed it so much that my husband and I went back there for New Years and had another evening of wonderful food and a cozy table. Every time I have been to this restaurant I have had a very positive experience and would not hesitate to recommend Julia’s to others. Read more

This is a hidden gem over near the airport on Matheson. A friend of mine works in the area and he suggested it for a Saturday night dinner. We had a great time as the food was hot, fresh, and tasted great, plus the service was very professional. The service, and atmosphere were great. Friendly, and helpful servers with a clean restaurant. It had a nice family atmosphere with all the Christmas get togethers they had. We weren't sure where to have dinner and decided to try this place. It was definitely worth it! When we walked in, we were greeted right away, in Italian and English, which I thought was a nice touch. There was a piano player in the foyer playing nice tunes, I liked that. The server came over right away, very courteous and kind. We were given bread with oil and vinegar to dip, it tasted delicious! Definitely authentically Italian! We then ordered fried calamari to start, definitely a good choice! Nice and crispy! Our pasta came soon after. It was cooked to perfection! The sauce was superb and the pasta's flavours all blended together nicely. I was thoroughly impressed with this restaurant and would definitely visit again. The only thing that wasn't too nice was the price, over $80 for two people, but it was well-worth it. Read more
