I love coming to Vandermeer to look for plants. Even if I don't find what I'm looking for, it's wonderful to see the fish and very relaxing to watch the turtles lounging around. This is the place to shop in the spring and summer - such a variety of plants.

Prices began to rise in the last 2-3 years but this place is still more affordable than Sheridan. Complaints about emerald cedars not living should not solely be put on the nursery but planting and watering. Very nice garden center ! Had a lesson on proper planting of seed and edible fruits. Was so impressed with how manicured and immaculate the whole area in amd around the office was. I look forward to returning for another lesson as I eager to.explore the entire grounds and tasting the cuisine I didn't have time to fully enjoy previously. I will say the snapper looked juicy, fresh and mouth watering. I can't wait until the owner opens up again and considers our offer of hard growth & benefit.
