Philos IS the best restaurant, for it's food, in Cornwall! The owners, chefs, and the waiters/waitresses are always so friendly and obliging! They go out of their way to serve you the meal that you want.
I have read all of the reviews on this website because I care about what kind of review is being given to a restaurant that works so hard to please. It would seem to me that you can not please some with a "pleasing machine"!

We drove down from Ottawa because a friend of ours told us about this place and how good the food is, and we definitely weren't disappointed!!! It's atmosphere is more of a diner, really cute, and we had a really nice server!! She recommended The pizza, steak subs, and pitas, so we tried all three and we agreed with her!! Apparently it's family-run, and you can tell...everyone genuinely cares about your meal and making sure you're happy! The sauce on th steak sub was delicious!! Definitely worth the drive down!

The menu is well stocked with excellant choices and the food is well prepared by the Scott whose professional training and his personal care makes for food properly prepared and presented .
the fare is well ranged from Mussels , Calmari, chicken, steaks, hamburgers and much much more. Homemade fries and subtley spiced plates top the experience of this restaurant. It is mentored by the experince of Bernie from formerly Clydes and a great place for a couple to a group. The menu allows the picky choosers to have a choice and a great place for a group to enjoy their outing .

The pizza is the best in the area and the Red Ale from Church Key Brewery is reason enough to return! This is a great place to go for greek food. I am also lucky to say that I had the pleasure of having the Shis-Kabob Hut cater my wedding three years ago and we were oh so happy with the results. They served up a great meal to our specifications, and they had to travel 2 hours to get to the venue of the wedding (it was not in peterbourgh) but the food tasted jsut like it was served in the resturant. My husband and I plus all out family and friends are frequent visiters of this great place. Go in and enjoy some great greek food. You will not be disapointed!
