I love Indian food and have tried many of the restaurants in India Baazar and missisuaga. A newly-discovered gem of a restaurant for me is Bombay on the lake at 1710 lakeshore road west, clarkson. I work around the area and my colleagues took me to lunch there. I was impressed with the food and service.It's cheaper than most Indian restaurant in clarkson. The butter chicken must try.I find that mango lassi goes great with Indian food and their is very refreshing. Read more

I was curious to see what the fuss was about here. I agree with many of the posters here that the food is excellent and the service is attentive. I disagree with the posts that the decor is dated. I thought it was classic and elegant. The room we dined in had a vintage late 20th century look that matched the age of this well built house. Real oak doors, oak trimwork and a real brick and mortar fireplace provide warmth and character. It is annoying to see places that replace classic fixtures with things just because they are newer. The carpet and acoustic tiles may not be chic enough for some diners, but for family and date atmosphere, they attenuate the background noise which is most welcome. Read more

I will come back as there was nothing wrong with the food... a tad pricey for sandwiches! The only thing I did not like was when deciding on a beverage the waitress noticed that my husband and I were unsure of the bottles on the counter and being new there we didnt realize there was a fountain drink machine on the other side of the counter... the waitress however did not mention that either and we ended up paying 8$ for 2 ridiculously sized lemonades from france that tastes like water and sweetner...not impressed. Also I did not like the pasta salad at all... found it to be sweet and kind of gross however maybe others enjoy it! I will continue to go back and try other items on the menu as I did enjoy my first visit! Read more

My family has been coming to Enzos for over 25 years. It is a great place for Italian food. The owners are very down to earth people, that go out of there way, to make sure everything is good. The staff is very friendly, and accomodating. We brought our kids there, from toddlers, They are now both grown up, and continue to eat at Enzos. I have tried almost everything on the menu. Never disappointed. The pasta sauces are excellent. Pizza's taste great. Lasagna, shrimp and scallop fettucine, chicken, veal dishes are all awesome. Burger was excellent, melted in my mouth, a tiny bit of hot pepper mixed in was subtle, but a tasty novelty. Everything seemed freshly made with fresh ingredients. Fries were shoestring style, but piping hot and very good. Dry ribs were a tiny portion and virtually no meat, but my son liked them anyway. Rather expensive, over $100 both times.
