At Queens Cross, a neighbourhood favourite since 1979, stop in for a beer, but stay for the burger. With a choice of turkey, chicken or beef, rest assured that your burger will be much tastier than your last fast food meal. Tip: the Queens Deluxe boasts two types of cheese and two types of pork.

Raglan's serves a monstrous beef burger. If you're not a beer eater, go for the falafel or tuna burg'. The Republican Burger is a local favourite: it's topped with blue brie cheese, bacon and crispy onions.
At Tomahawk Barbecue, order the Dagwood Super (served with an and a wiener on top of the organic beef patty) or the Chief Capilano (with aged cheddar cheese). Their special Tomahawk sauce goes on almost every burger and if not, then their signature Yukon-style bacon does.
The homemade burger options at Browns Socialhouse are endless. Will you order the Hollywood or the Hickory? Both come with smoked bacon, but one comes loaded with barbecue flavour and one comes loaded with their special sauce. I guess you’ll have to visit to find out which is which.
Never again will you look for a local pub that serves an excellent burger while fantastic live music plays on stage. The 7 oz. Raven Burger is loaded with so many toppings you’d think someone had to be bonkers to offer it at this price. Check out their delivery hours if you are forced to order in.
