With its menu and its dance shows, Menara creates a real change of scenery. The dancers are skilled performers who demonstrate the technique and charm of traditional belly dancing. Warm decor with wood panelling will remind you of the Menara in Marrakech, and the cuisine will transport you. Try a starter of harira soup, followed by couscous royale, lamb tagine with prunes, kebabs or kefta, and baklava for dessert, accompanied by mint tea or a glass of Guerrouane.
O. Noir
124, rue Prince-Arthur E, Montréal, QC H2X 1B5Based on an original idea from Switzerland, where blind pastor Jorge Spielmann covered the eyes of his guests to share his experience with them, O'noir lets you rediscover dining by turning out the lights. In the dark, your other senses become more intense. Service is provided by blind wait staff, and a portion of the profits goes to local associations serving the blind. Menu items include marinated wild mushrooms with feta cheese and mint, served on a bed of green salad; sautéed shrimp with coconut sauce; and pearl barley with dried tomatoes and herbs, served with broccoli and sautéed peppers.
Randolph Pub Ludique
