For a taste of Montreal's Griffintown

Formerly a working class neighbourhood, Griffintown has undergone a profound transformation over the last decade. Many restaurants have chosen to settle in this neighbourhood located between the Bonaventure highway, rue Notre Dame and rue Guy, just steps from the Lachine Canal. Here are some places to discover in this popular destination for Montrealers.

Restaurant Nora Gray

Located away from the action, Nora Gray still manages to get noticed since its opening in 2011. This restaurant offers Italian food and a friendly atmosphere, both retro and minimalist.

Restaurant Le Richmond

Chicken wings, poutine and ribs are just some of the dishes that appear on Le Boucan’s menu, which is inspired by the cuisine found in the Southern United States and in Montreal diners. Thanks to its vintage decor, you may feel that you're somewhere other than Griffintown!

Junior Filipino Restaurant

Considered the cultural heart of the city, the Quartier des spectacles has become one of the liveliest neighbourhoods in Montreal since the redevelopment of the Place des Festivals. It has eight public spaces that host an average of 40 festivals per year. Here is a list of restaurants where you can enjoy a bite to eat before or after your outing!
