Our sommelier Steve Beauséjour will be delighted to introduce you to import wines private weekly. The owner, as creative with alcohols, you improvise a special cocktail each week in addition to a wide range of high-end variant themes originating from different taste.
Long-time Hochelaga resident Mathieu Ménard was tired of having to leave his neighbourhood to find a good place to eat. With 10 years of restaurant experience under his belt and a desire to fulfil his dreams, he decided to fill the void and open Le Chasseur in September 2012.
The son of a former caribou-hunting guide and a hunter himself, Mathieu wanted to create a restaurant that would feature game and Quebec products. With a menu reflective of the seasons, when possible, the restaurant supports small, local farms located in the Montreal area. Mother Nature and Mathieu's creative inspiration are what determines the food that ends up on a diner's plate. But no matter the season, one popular dish is available year-round: its famous boudin recipe with bacon and foie gras, a recipe so intriguing that it garnered the restaurant a spot on the cooking show, À la di Stasio.
