Salon Douze operated at its original Maguire-Street location in the Mile End for four years. That's when partners Mathilde Hollard and Isabelle Faguy decided to welcome Karine Meloche as the third member to the team.
In search of a little more room for the salon, all three fell in love with a local space that freed up ... just across the street! After several weeks of renovations, the time came to open their new hair salon.
Mathilde and Isabelle met when they worked together at a large Montreal salon. After going their separate ways for a while, the two partners decided to join forces and open a hair salon together on a human scale.
