I worked with Precimax for a quite challenging project. The target specification of this project was to deliver a flexural fine motion for a 2000 rpm rotating shaft with a max. runout of 10 microns. A combination of complex machining was required which conducted in the best way and delivered on-time having all specifications. Precimax has a very warm, kind, and respective personnel. I am quite sure that everyone works with this company will be satisfied and happy out of this collaboration.
We had three companies working on space-qualified parts for our student satellite project (with an expected launch date of 2014) and Precimax was the only company able to deliver on time and to exact specification. Not only were our tolerances extremely tight, but we also needed a wafer-thin Teflon part machined. Another local company used a Teflon substitute instead of Teflon when making another part, because it was easier for them to machine, and we had to ask them to re-manufacture it in the right material. Thankfully, we never had this kind of hassle with Precimax.
They also gave us free tiny screwdrivers, which is always a plus!
