Lisa Patterson's business imaginit music operates out of a charming coach house tucked away on the edge of Toronto's Film and Studio district. Since 2002, her entrepreneurship and musical and audio production skills have resulted in an impressive range of services, including recording sessions, custom composing, songwriting workshops, education programs and a unique rehearsal space.
Musicians are in good hands at imaginit music, where they can benefit from a range of musical services provided by Lisa. She studied classical piano as a child and, directly after high school, studied Music Production and Engineering at Fanshawe College. Driven by her passion for music, Lisa's played in many original bands before earning a BFA Music Performance Major at York University. Today, she is an award-winning musician with extensive skills as a songwriter, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, producer and engineer.
“I was blessed to have many childhood world travel opportunities through my pilot father," says Lisa, smiling at the memory. "One early experience being in a classroom in another country opened my eyes to different ways of being.” This awareness, cultural sensitivity and belief in inclusivity are central to Lisa's business and her career as a musical artist.
