Brought my Rolex Yachtmaster for servicing at the Rolex St Clair corporate office. While waiting in the lobby for the pre-examination there was a video demonstration going on explaining how thorough they examine the movement and the outside appearance of the watch and implement strict quality controls as part of the servicing. Once my watch was ready for pick up I was dissapointed to see bracelet scratches not polished visible with naked eye and shadows on the sandblasted area od the bezel. Overall poor job done on the bezel and bracelet. The lady at the reception had to bring back the watch 2 additional times to have it repolished while I was waiting in the lobby. Her explanation was that the scratches must have been missed the first time. If Rolex indeed has such high standards and quality controls than how can they service a watch and present it to their customer in such sloppy condition. It also makes me think about how they have serviced the inside movement of the watch non accessible by me. Needless to say I will not be servicing in future with them. Quite dissapointed for the time and money I spent.
