The Island Yacht Club is nestled in Blockhouse Bay, one of the prettiest coves in the Toronto Islands. Our private tender whisks you on a scenic journey, from Queens Quay, across the Toronto Harbour, through Blockhouse Bay, and onto our very own Muggs Island.
Avoid this club and save yourself a headache. I used to be a member of the IYC and unfortunately its glory years are long gone. Visited with friends and family on the weekend and we were treated as intruders not guests by the rude dockmaster Dietrick. Looking him up online & am not the only one to complain about him. Anyway the are fabulous Yacht clubs in the Toronto Harbour such as the National Yacht Club. Queen City Yacht Club and the RCYC so don't settle for a sub standard facility.
