Meet the owner

Brother and sister duo Helen and Foti Siomos are trained opticians and have a passion for quality eye products. Together they own and operate Eye Candy Opticians, their very own vision centre in Toronto. “I had been working as an optician for eight or nine years and I decided I wanted to work for myself,” Helen says. “And my brother decided to become an optician as well, so we were able to go into business together.”

The siblings opened Eye Candy Opticians in a neighbourhood where they could get to know their customers on a personal level. “We really pride ourselves on taking care of our clients in a professional and personal way,” Helen says. “I think each person should be treated as an individual and our neighbourhood has really allowed us to get to know each and every one of our clients. We want to develop long-term relationships with the people who come in here.”
