Michael Macnamara is a graduate of Carleton University in 2007 where he obtained a B.A. (in law) and the University of New South Wales in 2012 in Sydney, Australia, where he obtained his Juris Doctor. He was called to the bar Ontario Bar in January 2014. Michael practices in the areas of civil and commercial litigation with an emphasis on estate, real estate and construction lien matters. He also defends criminal and quasi-criminal prosecutions including impaired driving charges and youth criminal justice matters. Michael is a zealous advocate for his clients at all levels of court. Michael is a strong advocate for the City of Greater Sudbury and its role as the economic and social hub of Northern Ontario. He is heavily involved in the community, including several professional and social associations and is presently the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce. more...
