The Village of Richmond Hill BIA is a non-profit community organization, dedicated to the economic and social well-being of the historic Village of Richmond Hill.A Business Improvement Area is an association of property owners, business operators and commercial tenants within a specified area, who work together to enhance and promote their business area.A BIA Board of Management, made up of member business volunteers, is appointed by the BIA membership and endorsed by the Town of Richmond Hill Council. Various Committees, made up of Board members and business representatives, assist in goal setting for the VRHBIA.The BIA is funded by a special tax levy applied to commercially assessed properties within the BIA boundaries, calculated proportionately based on their assessed value.
