This place is amazing! Every time we drop by for a bite to eat (well over 5 times) the food and service are exceptional. The only issue now would be probably be seating... That's a clear indication that these guys are doing something right. I highly recommend this spot and look forward to go back again.
After reading reviews online and looking on their website I decided to head on over to Nonnas Oven Oakville with my family. It was bright, airy, and clean a few tables set up for eat-in patrons. The atmosphere is ok a touch of background music would be nice. The bathrooms were clean and stocked.
After deciding we ordered calamari, mixed green salad, margherita pizza, Pollo sorpresa sandwich, spaghetti and meatballs.
Calamari- it was cooked nicely good texture. The house sauce was far too salty but the marina was nice. Portion size was not good considering the price
Mixed green salad- the spring mixed baby greens were %30 rotten.. I brought it to staff attention and they made a new one...only to have the same problem! Yuck! The balsamic dressing was good not overly sweet and a nice vinegar kick. Portion size is a joke way over priced!
Margherita pizza - was very good. The best part of the meal. It was 14 inches of deliciousness!
Portion was fair.
Pollo sorpresa sandwich- was ok, nothing spectacular it was overloaded with roasted red peppers. Portion was ok. Value is low
spaghetti and meatballs - has got to be the absolute worst tasting meatballs I have ever tasted. The texture is way too soft, nearly pasty, bland, the list could go on. He sauce was good. The pasta was cooked aldente and by the texture it was clearly boxed! Portion was poor. Value..I'm not sure how they justify $14
Staff was ok. Ecxept for the man working the pizza oven. Keep in mind u are seen by customers it wouldn't kill you to smile and make it look like u enjoy what u do.
Overall I wouldn't return. Value is low, over priced, the food is mediocre. I heared the table behind me say it was a disappointment...and I couldnt agree more.
