Halibut House Fish And Chips welcomes you to their dining room. They are accessible by bicycle and public transit and are in an amicable surrounding recognized for its nightlife.
Went this location for lunch, sat and waited FAR TOO LONG, waitress "dropped" the menus on the table and walked away, there is also a lack or supervision, extremely lacking customer service skills. I'm sure this complaint will go unnoticed and un address, haveing said all that I will spend another dime at Halibut House including all thier locations!!!
the food is great but the one waitress kim her service is bad attitude is bad dealing with people she never remembers what table your at even if there is only 6 people
in the restaurant.
Hello I have to say my husband and I plus our two teenage boys do enjoy trying new restaurants and we are not picky eaters my sons can eat lol So once we found out about The Halibut House we thought we'd try this restaurant since it is new to Durham. I will give it one plus the restaurant itself is really nice and new inside but the food was awful. First of all the fish batter was thick and I believe it was the same batter you would use for Chinese food eg: chicken balls. Secondly it was very greasy and an orange color which I have never seen fish to look like this before and I am of British background and I really love my fish and chips. i will not be returning or recommending it to my family or friends. Thank you had just come home and thought i would share my dining experience.
